Toastmasters of Laguna Beach Hosts Open House

At Susie Q Community Center on May 4

(Laguna Beach, CA)  Toastmasters of Laguna Beach Club is hosting an Open House at the Susie Q Community Center on Monday, May 4, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. including free parking, food and refreshments.  It is open to the public but reservations are requested.

At the event, the club will receive its new club charter from Toastmasters International, honoring Toastmasters of Laguna Beach as an official club in the worldwide organization.

Anyone who wants to learn how to improve their public speaking, communication and leadership skills is welcome to attend.

Reservations should be made with Club President, Alex Palermo at or by calling Linda Robinson, (949) 370-1184. The Susie Q Center is located at 380 3d Street in Laguna Beach.

Toastmasters of Laguna Beach was formed in May, 2014 and has steadily grown to over 25 members today.  The club meets every Monday evening, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Public Library in Laguna Beach.  Guests and visitors are welcome.

By joining Toastmasters,  people can develop more confidence as public speakers and leaders.  At weekly meetings, club members give speeches, practice impromptu speaking and evaluate each other. And by serving as club officers, members also develop leadership skills.
